HANDS-ON DINOSAUR FOSSILS & ANCIENT LIFE
A new and unique program that allows attendees to handle, examine and discuss real and replica fossils in the structured narrative of a workshop.

WALKING, SWIMMING, FLYING (COMING SOON)
Explore the difference in what lets animal bodies walk, swim and fly in all kinds of different ways. Slated for Fall 2025 release.
Dino Bites’ workshops are new and unique interactive, no-tech featuring real (and replica) specimens from all over the world. The Facilitator, Marlowe Andreyko, is an experienced, entertaining and knowledgeable Science Communicator that can adapt the workshop to any age or comprehension level.
Beyond being about dinosaurs, each 90-minute workshop also imparts the scientific concepts for further study, including: extinction, fossilization, anatomy and evolution. Participants can then carry on their learning experience armed with this palaeontological foundation.
About
FACILITATOR BIO

Marlowe Andreyko is a naturalized Canadian raised in Toronto. Having lived in various parts of the world (India, Africa, and Mexico), he considers himself adept at communication, being highly articulate in English, fluent in French and conversational in Spanish.
With a lifelong passion for palaeontology — and dinosaurs in particular — Marlowe has made the transition to Science Communicator over the past few years and is now proud to share his vision of education and entertainment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Marlowe has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology (York University), a Diploma of Higher Education in Natural Science: Biology (Open University, UK) and has engaged the public as a Gallery Interpreter at the Royal Ontario Museum since 2016. As part of being a Science Communicator, Marlowe considers himself an Amateur Palaeontologist, having studied the subject since 1981.

OUR MANDATE
Dino Bites wants to disseminate palaeontological knowledge in a way that is:
- Very memorable, through a highly interactive, thought-provoking and entertaining format.
- Transferrable to lifelong learning for participants, through supplementary means.
- Fun in the moment, with participants of all ages enjoying themselves thoroughly.
Emphasized is the power of real interaction and socializing. We live in a digital world, with distracting screens everywhere that dominate the eyes, ears and mind, leaving our other senses to stagnate. As such, no (or minimal) electronic devices, equipment or screens are used in our workshops or tours. Physical specimens and in-person environments predominate, helping our minds and voices do the teaching; to wonderful effect.
